Transport W departed from Praha (Praha) to Theresienstadt on February 8, 1942. It consisted of approx.1,000 Jews. Egon (Gonda) Redlich recorded in his diary the arrival of this transport on February 8: The transport from Prague arrived. At the fair, they found 5,000 crowns on one person. They wanted to punish the entire transport by depriving them of food for twenty four hours. Of course most of the transport is composed of elderly and sick people.
