The sixth transport from Cologne to Theresienstadt left the Cologne-Deutz-Tief train station on September 26 1942 and arrived in Theresienstadt on the same day. The transport was given the reference III/6 in the ghetto listings where the Roman numeral III signifies Cologne. It consisted of 50 deportees, three of whom were from Bad Godesberg and two from Mechernich. Thirty four of the deportees were women and 16 were men. The average age of the deportees was 60. The oldest deportee was an 88 year old woman
