This transport departed from Munich on August 12, 1942 and arrived a day later in Theresienstadt. The transport consisted of 45 elderly Jews.
This was the last transport from the Milbertshofen assembly camp. The camp was closed on August 19, 1942 since the number of Jews in Munich had significantly decreased. At the end of August 1941 there were 3,249 Jews in the city, and by December 31, 1942 only 645 persons were counted as Jews according to the Nuremberg laws.
Jews from Augsburg (2), Bad Wörishofen (2), Fischach (10), Hainsfarth (5), Kempten im Allgäu (5), Lindau (2), Krumbach (1) and Neu-Ulm (2) were on board this transport. This was the last transport to leave from Munich in 1942. So far, 1,195 elderly Jews had been deported from Munich and Upper Bavaria to Theresienstadt....
