This transport departed from Munich on July 31, 1942 and arrived a day later in Theresienstadt. The transport consisted of 50 elderly Jews.
This was a transport with Jews from Augsburg. Augsburg served as a collection point for deportations from Swabia of which there were seven transports that left for Riga, Piaski, Auschwitz und Theresienstadt. Fifteen Jews had lived in buildings 6 and 8 on Haldenstrasse which used to be the synagogue and the community building. Prior to the deportation from Munich these Jews were transported from Augsburg to the Milbertshofen assembly camp.
This was the last of eleven transports in July 1942 in which 550 Jews were deported to Theresienstadt. According to historian Alfred Gottwaldt, only 70 survived....
