The transport described here set out from Prague for Theresienstadt on December 2, 1944. When it reached Theresienstadt, it was designated Ez-St_76 in the ghetto records. There were five Jews aboard, aged thirty-one to fifty-six. The designation Ez-St in German denotes a special transport comprised of individuals (Einzelreisende Sondertransport). Those deported in these transports were usually relatives of members of the Jewish leadership in Theresienstadt, Jews who had been arrested by the Gestapo, or Jews who had been taken to Prague from other localities.
All of the passengers on this transport survived the war.
