In July 1940, the Jews of Pyzdry were deported by horse-drawn wagons and on foot to Zagórów ghetto. The exact date of the deportation cannot be determined, but the transport was conducted between July 15 and 18, 1940, most likely on July 17 or 18. At the same time, other Pyzdry Jews were deported to the Rzgów and Grodziec ghettos.
Most deportees from Pyzdry didn't survive the Holocaust.
